Children are not a distraction from more important work. They are the most important work. --Dr. John Trainer
More than 10 years ago, after moving to a new country, Lyn decided to homeschool her children to prevent them from culture shock and to help them adjust to their new environment.
Although a licensed Librarian by profession, and work more than 10 years in a University, Lyn had no background of homeschooling.
But along their journey she noticed how homeschool can benefit her children.
She diligently attended seminars and training courses in order to formulate an educational program that nurtured the creative passions of her children.
Now that she and her family have relocated back to the Philippines, after more than 10 long years of being away, she hopes to enlighten other parents who are considering homeschooling their children.
With her website Beyond HomeSchooling (formerly HomeSchool Academy), she shares resources and tips that give parents an idea about how to start homeschooling their children, and how to transition themselves into online business.
She was featured on Daily Insight under Eagle Broadcasting and was able to promote her first ever self-publish e-book, and shared her homeschooling advocacy.
